El Moudjahid profiles the Bloc as “a citizen bulwark against attempts at destabilisation”

Under a headline highlighting the role of associations in consolidating stability and strengthening the home front, the daily El Moudjahid examined the Hisn Al-Mateen Bloc's experience and its contribution to associative and national life.

The Bloc was founded on the firm conviction that civil society is an essential partner in protecting national achievements, consolidating national unity and strengthening citizens' awareness and sense of responsibility, free from all forms of division and attempts at destabilisation.

The Hisn Al-Mateen Bloc works to:

• organise national talent and energies and activate citizen participation;
• spread legal and civic culture and raise community awareness;
• support local initiatives and encourage Algerian talent at home and abroad;
• help defend just causes, foremost among them the Palestinian and Sahrawi causes;
• strengthen cooperation and coordination among civil-society actors.

The Bloc has also launched the “Community Immunity 2025–2026” initiative, based on prevention, awareness-raising and a professional community response, to strengthen civil society's capacity to meet challenges and contribute positively to the nation.

This momentum is part of a new phase aimed at developing local offices and structures, organising training courses, raising the level of supervision and broadening cooperation with associative actors in the cultural, legal and economic fields.
