Bloc president attends the Iranian Embassy's “Iran through Algerian Eyes” cultural ceremony

I had the honour of attending the remarkable cultural ceremony organised by the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Algeria as part of the “Iran through Algerian Eyes” competition, on the glorious anniversary of the outbreak of the Liberation Revolution.

The enjoyable and enriching gathering brought together former ministers, writers, artists, party leaders and civil-society representatives in a friendly atmosphere that reflected the depth of the historic and cultural ties between the Algerian and Iranian peoples.

My sincere thanks to His Excellency the Ambassador for the kind invitation and warm welcome, and for his efforts to strengthen friendship and cultural exchange between our two countries.
