National Bureau commends Tizi Ouzou coordinator Hocine Haddou's press interview on the Artist's Law

As part of its ongoing follow-up of the work of wilaya coordinators and regional representatives, the National Bureau of the Hisn Al-Mateen Bloc Foundation highly commends the outstanding media contribution of artist and activist Hocine Haddou, coordinator of the Tizi Ouzou wilaya office, published in the newspaper “Al-Ain Al-Ikhbariya” in its issue of 3 June 2025.

Titled “The Artist's Law: an essential gain”, the contribution affirms the Foundation's commitment to defending the social and professional rights of Algerian artists and stresses the importance of speeding up the effective implementation of the Artist's Law, so as to guarantee justice and dignity for every creator.

This principled stance and purposeful contribution reflect the strong sense of responsibility of our coordinators in the field and embody genuine engagement in the struggle to promote cultural and artistic work in Algeria.

Accordingly, the National Bureau:

• commends this quality contribution by the Tizi Ouzou wilaya coordinator;
• calls on the other wilaya coordinators to follow this constructive media dynamic;
• affirms that the Hisn Al-Mateen Bloc Foundation will continue to stand by artists and intellectuals on all essential issues.
