Bloc praises its coordinators' awareness work and urges its elected members to step up campaign support

We have closely followed the activities of the Hisn Al-Mateen Bloc's members and coordinators in awareness campaigns on the importance of a successful presidential election on 7 September, aimed at spreading political awareness and preventing voter abstention — whether through the Bloc's own activities or jointly with political parties, other civil-society actors and even the State's consultative bodies dealing with civil society. This confirms the success of the social reconciliation initiative to strengthen the country's internal front, launched by the institution at the start of the year.

We thank all those who responded to the initiative's call for participatory democracy, which the President of the Republic is keen to make a reality, and we thank our active members, who have earned our gratitude for their efforts in every wilaya, including El Oued, Adrar, Tindouf, Béchar, Khenchela, Tipaza, Bouira, Boumerdès, Tlemcen, Sidi Bel Abbès, Mila, Djelfa, Tamanrasset, Chlef, Sétif, Annaba, Skikda, Tiaret, Mascara, Tissemsilt, Oran and Algiers.

The Bloc's leadership renews its trust in all its loyal members and commends their efforts to put its principles and goals into practice.

Continuing our roadmap for a successful election and an active campaign for our candidate, Mr Abdelmadjid Tebboune, we call on the Bloc's independent elected members in Parliament and local assemblies, the coordinators of our wilaya offices and all members to redouble their efforts and take part in all public campaign rallies, so as to ensure a popular mobilisation that confirms the Bloc's support for its candidate.

May God grant you all success.
