Hisn Al-Mateen Bloc offers condolences on the death of Palestinian leader Ismail Haniyeh

On behalf of the Hisn Al-Mateen Bloc, its President Mr Djelloul Chetouane, accompanied by members of the national office, offered condolences on the death of Palestinian leader Ismail Haniyeh at the Palestinian factions' representation in Algeria, headed by Mr Youssef Hamdan.

The deceased was a symbol of struggle and courage and an influential figure in the history of the Palestinian cause. His loss is a great one, not only for Palestine but for the entire Muslim nation. We share the grief of his family, friends and all who loved him, and pray that God grant him His mercy.

We pray that God grant his family patience and solace, and that the Palestinian people continue their struggle to achieve their aspirations to freedom and independence.
